History

Welcome to Villa Sole di Capri!

This villa, called “Lo Sgarrupo”, was built in 1960.
 
It was built by Gaetano Angiolillo thanks to the donation of his grandfather Gaetanino De Gregorio who left the land as a legacy. Initially the structure was half the size of the current one, and was changed by his son Renato around the years 1995/2000, creating a holiday home with all current comforts and renaming it “Villa sole di Capri”, due to the privileged position facing Capri.
 
The villa has been visited by men of culture, journalists, entertainment people…
It is the largest structure on the peninsula with 700m2 of covered space and 2500m2 of garden.
